Pharmacy Technician Certification Program Beginning September 18th at ERACE in Branford

ERACE will be offering a 20 week Pharmacy Technician Certification Program beginning September 18th at 6:15pm at Branford High School.

The Pharmacy Technician Certification Program is an intensive 20 week program using a blended learning format. Pharmacy Tech includes job required skills and responsibilities and includes a 10 hour OSHA Authorization course, Pharmacy mathematics, chemistry with wet lab, Externship, and will conclude with registering for PTCB Certification Exam.

Pharmacy Tech will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from September 18th, 2017 to
February 14th, 2018 from 6:15pm-8:15pm at Branford High School.

The cost of the program is $450.00.

The course fee includes the course curriculum delivered through Edgenuity educational software and access to a Connecticut certified teacher, but does not include the $129 PTCB exam fee. Please check the PTCB website (www.ptcb.org) for more exam information. Students should bring a calculator to class. Please note that this is a rigorous program that successful completion will require a minimum of 8-10 hours of homework per week.

Registration Guidelines:
Students interested in registering for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Program are required to take and pass a math and reading pretest prior to the first night of class. ERACE offers remediation classes in reading and math for students who do not pass the necessary pretests for an additional fee.
