Sacred Heart Academy Honors Branford Residents

Congratulations to the local residents.

(Elizabeth Christophy, Ph.D.)

Each year, incoming freshmen with the highest entrance exam scores and those who demonstrate outstanding academic potential are selected to receive the Sister Antonine Signorelli, ASCJ Memorial Scholarship. Established in 1993, the scholarship honors the life, philosophy, and achievements of the Academy’s founding principal. These students display strong academic success with promise of future accomplishment and truly affirm the Academy’s motto, Excelsior.

This year Sacred Heart welcomed ten new Antonine Scholars:Theresa Dobbins of New Haven; Pilar Infantino of Westport; Margaret Jinks of Cheshire; Katherine Kelly of Branford; Caroline Lawlor of North Haven; Kathryn Marquis of Orange; Maeve McConnell of Branford; Sofia Morgillo of Hamden; Francesca Siegel of Hamden; and Annemary Ummacheril of Wallingford.

The administration and current Antonine Scholars recently celebrated the arrival of our new scholars and their parents at a reception in their honor. Sacred Heart is proud of these young women and all members of the incoming Class of 2023.
