'The Simple Act Of Caring Is Heroic:' Neighbor Saves Neighbor's Life
With a little help from Branford police officer Audra Clyburn and the Branford Fire Department.
BRANFORD, CT —Edward Albert said, “The simple act of caring is heroic.”
And in this instance, that caring saved a woman's life.
On Sunday, Branford Police report, an "alert neighbor noticed a few newspapers on his elderly neighbor’s front door and gave us a call."

On the job around a year, Branford police officer Audra Clyburn went to the home to investigate.
Police said she, "Heard the TV on inside, but after several minutes she could faintly hear the woman inside saying she was on the floor. The woman fell, could not get up, and had been there for days."

"Her life was saved by the neighbor who just noticed something a little off," police wrote on Facebook. "Every so often this happens here in town, and we are always thankful to the neighbors that call in. Great job 'Joseph,' Officer Clyburn, and of course the Branford Fire Department."
