The Legacy Theatre is pleased to announce that performances highlighting the history of the Stony Creek Theatre (puppet house) will be performed at the Stony Creek Museum, blocks away from the theater as it undergoes construction. Tickets on sale now~ Seating is limited, so make reservations soon! Nov 2-3

Orson Welles’ tie into the Stony Creek Theatre is unmistakably exciting. His famous Radio Shows (including War of the Worlds) were performed during an era of great radio features. In that vein, the Legacy Theatre will be performing a “Radio Show” live performance at the Stony Creek Museum of the holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life”.

Performed by the Parish Players in the Stony Creek Theatre June 25-July 31, 1934, the Legacy Theatre will recreate this 1930s comic tale of love mishaps at the Stony Creek museum.

March 15-16 Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw

Performed by the Parish Players at the Stony Creek Theatre in 1936, this brilliant comedy by George Bernard Shaw was the basis for the musical My Fair Lady.
Apil 5-6 The Wicked Stage

Based on actual historic events that took place at the theater in Stony Creek, Connecticut playwright Joe Landry features characters such as Orson Welles and other icons in this unbelievable, but true tale of events about the historic theater in Stony Creek

Produced by the Parish Players in 1930, this children’s classic highlights the Legacy’s
intention to carry on the tradition of children’s theater in the historic Stony Creek Theatre.
