Successful Event At The Stand Raises Money For Branford Microfund
The $1,500 supports Branford Microfund, which provides interest-free loans of up to $3K to help lessen Branford residents' financial burdens
BRANFORD, CT — Bringing together local residents and Branford Microfund volunteers for an evening of music, fellowship, and fundraising at The Stand in Branford garnered $1,500. Those funds will be used to support BMF’s loan program that provides interest-free loans of up to $3,000 to Branford residents to help lighten immediate financial burdens.
At the event, raffled door prizes included an Apple Watch, a Thimble Island sunset boat cruise, tickets to Legacy Theater and The Kate, a horse riding session, a guest trolley operator experience, and gift cards to several local restaurants including The Stand, Dockside, and Pennylane Pub.
The music for the hugely successful event was provided by Montana Gentleman.

manager Joy Shane for hosting this community gathering," it was noted in a news release.
