Theatre Classes for All Ages and Abilities at Legacy Theatre

Theatre Classes for All Ages and Abilities at Legacy Theatre Musical Theatre, Drama, Improv, Technical Theatre and more!

BRANFORD, CT – Have you ever wanted to try acting? Do you know a child interested in stepping into the spotlight? Perhaps you’re an experienced performer looking to further your improv training? No matter your age or skill level, Legacy Theatre has a class for you!

This Fall, join Legacy Theatre for a series of intimate theatre classes led by local teaching artists with extensive industry experience. The theatre will be offering their Fall session of courses for theatre lovers and theatre novices alike, with topics ranging from technical theatre to improv and musical theatre to creating your own solo show. These classes are an exceptional opportunity to learn from artists who are active participants in the professional and local theatre scenes, many of whom have been seen onstage or behind the scenes for Legacy Theatre productions. Many of the classes also conclude with a showcase on the Legacy Theatre stage.

The class offerings include Legacy’s “Wheel Life Theatre Troupe,” “Toddler Time,” “K-4th Grade Drama Class,” “Musical Theatre Performance” (Middle School & High School Sessions), “Creating Your Own Solo Show,” “Acting for Adults,” “Technical Theatre,” and “Adult Improv.” Registration is also open for many of the theatre’s Winter classes, including the return of their “Adults with Autism Acting Class” in partnership with ASRC at Clifford Beers Community Health Partners. Legacy Theatre is also collaborating with Shoreline Adult Education and Branford Parks and Recreation to bring their theatre classes to the wider Branford and Shoreline communities. More details on instructors and full class descriptions can be found on Legacy’s website, in addition to links for registration -- legacytheatrect.org/classes.
