TRAFFIC ALERT: 2-Vehicle Accident Leads to Lane Closure on I-95
The accident was reported at 11:30 a.m. and delays have been reported for miles.

Update: Smoke is clearly visible from the accident site and ambulances are on the scene from Branford and Milford fire departments. Delays are reported back to Exit 52 on I-95, and the vehicle that caught on fire is a tan Ford Explorer.
Patch Editor Barbara Heins reports that motorists can see thick black smoke billowing from the site as firefighters work on extinguishing the blaze.
