
From Lawrence University: Travis Charlow, son of John and Sarah Charlow, Branford, earned a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies from Lawrence University at its 169th commencement.
Peggy Shepard, the executive director of the New York City-based organization WE ACT For Environmental Justice, was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree and delivered the principal commencement address as part of the ceremonies.
