1 Injured In Bridgeport Explosion Incident

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police and firefighters are investigating following an early morning explosion of an old train car near Barnum School, WTNH reported.

Bridgeport Fire tweeted that they received the call at 3:21 a.m. regarding a juvenile stating he was playing in a train car by Seaview Avenue with his friend and there was an explosion. Police located the teens and firefighters conducted a rescue.

The teen was electrocuted when he came in contact with a transmission line.

One of the teens was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with severe burns, according to WTNH.
