BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man suffered a neck wound in a Friday afternoon stabbing in Bridgeport, according to police.

Details of the incident were not immediately available, but the authorities said it occurred at about 2:25 p.m. near the intersection of State and Board streets.

The suspect fled the scene, and the victim is being treated in at a local hospital.
