1 Injured In Stabbing Incident In Bridgeport: Police
The assault occurred Friday night on Noble Avenue, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police are investigating a Friday night stabbing that left a 42-year-old local man injured, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. on Friday in the 300 block of Noble Avenue. No arrests have been made.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was inside a parked vehicle across from Washington Park, and had a "severe loss of blood," according to Det. Jeffrey Holtz.

"The 42-year-old victim who lives on the East Side, was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery," Holtz said in a statement. "He was listed in stable condition."
Noble Avenue was closed between East Washington Avenue and Barnum Avenue during the investigation, but has since been reopened.

Members of the department's Major Crimes Unit are investigating the incident, and have towed the vehicle for evidence.
