BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, Gloristine Thomas claimed a winning CASH5 ticket she purchased at Boston Avenue Grocery on Boston Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials.

The pari-mutuel game, which costs $1 per wager, with the option of adding "KICKERS" for $0.50 each.

Top prize for the game is $100,000 when all five numbers are matched; the overall odds of winning are 1 in 324,632.
