11 People, 1 Pet Displaced By Pair Of Weekend Fires In Bridgeport: Officials
No injuries were reported in the blazes on Saturday and Sunday.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport firefighters extinguished two fires over the weekend, which combined temporarily displaced eight adults, three children and a cat, according to officials.
No injuries were reported in either blaze, the first of which occurred at about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday in the 120 block of Alice Street.
Firefighters doused the blaze within 15 minutes of arrival, and the Bridgeport Fire Marshal's Office is investigating its cause. Five adults and two children displaced by the fire are being helped by the American Red Cross.

The second fire occurred in the 600 block of Lakeside Drive, which was contained to the garage and quickly knocked down by firefighters.
