The Sunday night fire was at a building on Oak Street, according to fire officials.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport firefighters doused a two-alarm fire at an abandoned building on Oak Street Sunday night, according to fire officials.

The blaze was called in at about 9:30 p.m. Initial reports did not know if there were any occupants inside, but fire officials said in addition to firefighters, police and paramedics also responded to the scene, and no injuries were reported as of Sunday night.

Upon arrival, the first firefighters at the scene were greeted by "heavy fire exposure" from the A and B side of the building, and the second alarm was quickly called in.
