2 Bridgeport Men Charged With Attempted Murder In Trumbull: PD
The arrest came after a drive-by shooting in Trumbull.

TRUMBULL, CT — Two Bridgeport men were charged with attempted murder after an afternoon drive-by shooting on Old Town Road last September, according to police.
The Sept. 14 shooting occurred around 3 p.m. The victim was driving on Old Town Road near White Plains Road when another vehicle pulled next to him. The two arrestees then opened fired on the victim and fled the scene, said Lt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.
The victim was hit by at least one bullet and drove himself to St. Vincent's Hospital. Trumbull Police conducted a lengthy investigation with the assistance of Bridgeport Police.

Stephen Taylor, 29, was located by members of the Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force April 2 and arrested at a Miles Street residence in Bridgeport, Golding said. Taylor was held on $300,000 bail and was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a weapon without a permit and several other crimes.
Taylor was found with 20 bags of heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana along with a 9mm handgun when he was arrested Monday. He was additionally charged with criminal possession of a firearm, operating a drug factory and other drug crimes. An additional $150,000 bail was added on to the previous amount. He also has five active failure to appear warrants.

Hassan Rogers, 48 was apprehended by members of the Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force Feb. 7 and was held on $500,000 bail. He was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a weapon without a permit and other crimes.
