$20,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport
A local resident is believed to be the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A $20,000 winning scratch-off lottery ticket was recently sold in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
The lucky winner, who has not yet been identified, is believed to be from Bridgeport, according to lottery officials.
That individual won with a "20X Cash 8th Edition" ticket, which was purchased at Pam's Variety Store on Madison Avenue.

The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in June, and as of Tuesday, 98 grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed, lottery officials said.
More than 2.8 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
