2023 Hartford HealthCare Supplier Diversity Summit


Innovative approach to expanding and empowering healthy equitable communities

Certified minority businesses will learn about opportunities to work with Hartford HealthCare, harnessing its purchasing power for a more diverse supply chain. The commitment includes building business relationships and contracting with a growing number of certified minority businesses. Currently at 300 and counting across the system.


Hartford HealthCare has spearheaded an innovative approach to expanding and empowering minority-owned, women-owned and LBGTQi-owned industries to ensure it is a force multiplier of good, choosing to do business with certified minority-owned businesses whenever possible.

Over the years, since making this initiative a priority, Hartford HealthCare’s innovative Supply Chain has increased its spend with minority-owned local businesses by millions, focusing on partnering with more than 300 minority-owned businesses, and increasing the targeted spend to more than $190 million. This includes products from landscaping services to coffee supplier to window washers and many industries in between. Don’t miss the chance to attend the upcoming Hartford HealthCare Supplier Diversity Summit, which brings together Hartford HealthCare colleagues and certified minority business owners to explore new opportunities.
