$25,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

An Ansonia resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An Ansonia resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, Maria Martins claimed a winning "PLAY4 DAY" ticket she purchased at the Capitol Exxon gas station on Lindley Street.

The game, which has prizes from $25 to $25,000 daily, is played with wagers in $0.50 increments up to $5. Odds vary depending on the amount wagered, and how many winning numbers are matched.
