$25,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

The lucky winner came forward on Wednesday, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Seymour resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, the person claimed a winning $2,000,000 MEGA MULTIPLIER ticket that was bought at Spark City Smoke & Vape on Lafayette Boulevard.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in last month, and as of Thursday, three grand prizes of $2 million remained unclaimed. Additionally, three prizes each of $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000 also had not been claimed.

More than 2.7 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.25.
