2nd Victim Dies From Wounds In Bridgeport Shooting: Police

The 18-year-old Bridgeport man, and a 32-year-old Hartford man, were shot on Fairfield Avenue on July 10. The gunman remains at-large.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The second victim in the fatal July 10 shooting in Bridgeport has died, according to police.

Bridgeport resident Kazzmaire Dorsey, 18, died on Thursday as a result of the injuries he sustained in the shooting.

"The Bridgeport Police Department’s thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends," said Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement. A GoFundMe page has been established in Dorsey's honor to assist his family.

Hartford resident Ramon Gonzalez-Peguero Jr., 32, was pronounced dead at the hospital following the shooting. A GoFundMe page has also been set up in Gonzalez-Peguero's honor.

The gunman remains at-large, and police urge anyone with any information about the shooting to contact Homicide Detective Keith Hanson at 203-581-5243, or use the Bridgeport Police Tips Line at 203-576-TIPS (8477).
