$30,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport
A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Feb. 11, the person claimed a winning $30,000 Cashword ticket that was bought at Liquor Loft on Hallett Street.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in June 2024, and as of Tuesday, four grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 11 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.74.
