4 Accused Of Street Takeover In Bridgeport: Police
The incident occurred last month at Seaside Park, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Four Bridgeport residents were arrested on charges of reckless driving in connection with a street takeover in a parking lot at Seaside Park’s West Beach in Bridgeport, according to police.
A video posted to Facebook on March 29 shows multiple vehicles driving recklessly in the parking lot, and appears to show drivers performing donuts, burnouts and drifting while maneuvering at high speed in an area shared by pedestrians and other traffic.
The activity created what authorities described as a hazardous environment and caused damage to the pavement. The video drew widespread attention on social media, with users raising concerns about safety.

The Bridgeport Police Traffic Division opened an investigation on April 4. With assistance from the Bridgeport Fusion Center, investigators identified four vehicles believed to be involved.
A couple of days later, police charged the following individuals with reckless driving:

- Anibal E. Perez Velez, 19
- Victor David Iraheta Funes, 21
- Alex Alfonso Aguilar Franco, 22
- Kevin Anibal Cante Aguilar, 18
All four were released on promises to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on April 21.
