$40,000 Worth Of Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Bridgeport
The winnings came from two separate scratch-off tickets, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two separate scratch-off lottery tickets that were sold in Bridgeport, and worth a combined $40,000, were claimed this week, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, Herman B. claimed a winning 10X™ Cash 17th Edition ticket worth $10,000 that he bought at Swift Mart on Capital Avenue in Bridgeport.
Also on Tuesday, an unnamed Bridgeport resident claimed a $30,000 prize from a 30X Cash 10th Edition ticket, which was purchased at E & M Park Fuels on Park Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.
The 10X game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in October 2023, and as of Wednesday, 174 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed. More than 5.2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.

The 30X game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in February 2023, and as of Wednesday, 27 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. More than 1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
