5 People Shot at Sweet Sixteen Party in Connecticut: Report

Police are searching for two shooters, police said. One of the victim's is listed in serious condition.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are searching for the suspects responsible for shooting five people attending a Sweet Sixteen birthday party late Saturday, according to reports.

One of the victims is listed in serious condition but is expected to live, NBC Connecticut reports. Four other victims received non-life threatening injuries. Four of the five victims were males and police are searching for two shooters, Fox 61 reports.

The shooting occurred at Circlo Sportivo at 2500 Park Avenue, which is an Italian American Club, just before 11 p.m.

Several uninvited people showed up at the club, which led to a fight that spilled out into the parking lot, Fox 61 reports.
