$50,000 Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport
A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $50,000 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Friday, Jesus Francisco claimed a winning "Super Cashword 23" ticket he purchased at Boston News & Deli on Boston Avenue.
The CT Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials.

The scratch-off game, which costs $5 per ticket, began in June 2022, and as of Tuesday, 15 grand prizes of $50,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 10 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.74.
