If you've ever received care from a PA or APRN, you've experienced the important role of an APP — an Advanced Practice Provider.

APPs are highly trained medical professionals with advanced degrees and specialized clinical training. They diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications and provide care in many different specialties, working closely with physicians, nurses and other members of the health care team.
