Armed Robbery Suspects Sought In Bridgeport: Police

Bridgeport cops are asking for the public's help in solving the Jan. 22 robbery of the Yuery's Market on East Main Street.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police detectives are searching for the two suspects who robbed Yuery’s Market on East Main Street on Jan. 22, and they are asking for the public's help in finding the duo.

The armed robbery occurred at about 6:30 p.m. at the market, which is at 1141 East Main St. One of the suspects displayed a handgun, and the two took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store.

"The suspect armed with the handgun is described as a Black male wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and blue medical gloves," said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement. "The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black & white shirt, black pants, black jacket, and a black facemask."

Both suspects were last seen on foot headed westbound on Jane Street, according to authorities. See surveillance photos above.
