Aug. 31 Forum To Address Transformation At Milford Campus Bridgeport Hospital

MILFORD, CT (Aug. 19, 2020) – June 9 marked one year since Milford Hospital became a fully integrated campus of Bridgeport Hospital. On Monday, Aug. 31, at 5 pm, the public is invited to attend a virtual presentation during which Bridgeport Hospital leadership will present information about the key investments and accomplishments at the Milford Campus since June 2019. The report, which will also include updates on clinical services and future plans for the campus, will be followed by the opportunity for questions and answers – questions must be submitted in advance.

The forum is being held in compliance with requirements established by the State of Connecticut Office of Healthcare Strategy as a condition of the Bridgeport Hospital acquisition of the former Milford Hospital.
Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, is a non-profit 501-bed acute care hospital with two campuses (plus 42 beds licensed to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital). Its Bridgeport and Milford Campuses serve patients from across the region. The hospital admits more than 23,000 patients and provides nearly 350,000 outpatient treatments annually. The Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital is the only burn center in the state and one of only 64 verified burn centers in the United States.
