Back To School: Bridgeport Public Schools 2022-23 School Calendar

BRIDGEPORT, CT — With summer winding down, thoughts turn to the new school, as families begin to prepare for the academic, sports and social activities that lie ahead.

An essential element of that is school calendars to help parents prepare for the first day in Bridgeport Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Bridgeport is Monday, Aug. 29.

Here is a list of other important dates to remember for the 2022-23 school year:

Bridgeport Public Schools

• First Day: Monday, Aug. 29
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25, no school
• Winter Break: Dec. 26-Jan. 2 (early dismissal for students and staff on the Dec. 23), no school
• Long Weekend: Feb. 16-20 (President's Day Feb. 20), no school
• Spring Break: April 7-14, no school
• Last Day: June 13 (half-day)*

*June 13 is the planned last day of school for students. Depending on the number of snow days during the school year, that date could change.
