YES,PT.BARNUM did it all.HE tried his hand at salesmanship,publishing,author.circus leader,museum owner etc.HE was a man of many talents and had the talent to make money in various ways.Born in BETHEL CT.he started out selling ,later produced a newspaper in DANBURY.HE went on to owning a museum ,built a circus empire among other things.HE sponsored CHARLES STRATTON[TOM THUMB]JENNY LIND,among others some strange looking,some were hoaxes too.ALL in all Barnum did it all.
