I remember so vividly as a youngster awaiting the Barnum Festival Parade to start.I can still see the motorcycle police up front leading the way down the avenue.I loved the parade with the clowns and especially the floats sponsored by local firms so colorful .The noise of the crowd gathered still lingers in my mind.The street parade is no doubt the best in CONNECTICUT.IT'S fun for all ages.I look forward to this years'parade as I have over my many years as a Bridgeport resident.
