Big Lottery Prizes Sold In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two winning lottery prizes worth more than $60,000 combined were recently sold in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Bridgeport resident won $50,000 on a Super Cashword 23 scratch ticket that was sold at Oasis Market & Deli at 629 Connecticut Ave. in Bridgeport, according to Lottery officials.

Another Bridgeport resident won $10,846 on a LOTTO! ticket that was sold at Beechmont Mini Market at 464 Beechmont Ave. in Bridgeport.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
