Bones, Casket Pieces Dug Up At Bridgeport Cemetery

Police are investigation an alleged plot to create new grave sites over old ones.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are investigating after bones and casket pieces were found in the Park Cemetery on Lindley Street. Gravestones were also found moved in an alleged plot to turn old grave sites into new ones.

The cemetery is owned by an association of family members of the deceased buried there. Members of the association are asking that manager Dale LaPrade be removed by the state court, according to the Connecticut Post.

LaPrade didn't respond to a subpoena to appear at the court hearing.
