Bridgeport Cops Honored
Several officers were honored for handling an incident where a suspect threatened to kill officers.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Several Bridgeport officers were honored by the Police Commissioners Association of Connecticut for their actions in capturing a suspect who fired a handgun during a struggle.
Officers Mark Pappas, Arlindo Dos Santos, Diala Roberts, and Thomas Flaherty responded to a complaint of drug deals being conducted out in the open. A suspect pulled a handgun and they tried to wrestle it away. The suspect told police, "someone was going to die," and fired the gun during the struggle, according to a release from the PCAC.
