Bridgeport Couple Killed In 1-Vehicle Crash In Trumbull: UPDATE
The crash occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Quarry and Old Town roads. The victim identifications have been released.

TRUMBULL, CT — The second victim in Monday's one-vehicle crash in Trumbull has died, according to police, and their identities have been released.
Bridgeport residents Noelli Escarraga, 69, and his wife, Maria Escarraga, 62, were the driver and passenger in the vehicle from the 3 p.m. crash. Noelli was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital soon after the crash, and Maria died Tuesday at St. Vincent's Hospital.
The vehicle they were riding in crashed into the Route 25 highway overpass, and police are still investigating what caused it.

According to police, the vehicle was traveling south on Quarry Road when it drove through the intersection, crossed over Old Town Road, and then struck the bridge.
The crash remains under investigation by the traffic division of the Trumbull Police Department, with assistance by members of the Fairfield Police Department.
