Bridgeport Fire Temporarily Displaces 13 People: Fire Department
The fire was reported Friday morning on Main Street, according to fire officials.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Friday morning fire in Bridgeport damaged a multifamily home, and left 13 people, including one child, temporarily displaced, according to fire officials. No injuries were reported.
The fire in the 2600 block of Main Street was called in at about 11:15 a.m.
"Fire involving rear of all three floors extinguished quickly by fire units," authorities said in a release.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents; the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
