Bridgeport Firefighters Extinguish Building Fire On Oak Street: FD
The fire was reported early Friday morning, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport firefighters extinguished a commercial building fire early Friday at 256 Oak St., according to authorities.
No injuries were reported in the 4:30 a.m. fire.
"Fire units arrived on scene to find smoke and fire visible from the building, at which time an aggressive interior fire attack was conducted," wrote Tiadora Josef, Bridgeport's Director of Public Information, in a statement.

The blaze was under control by about 5:20 a.m., and the Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
