Bridgeport Homicide Suspect Arrested

He was found out-of-state by U.S. Marshals.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — U.S. Marshal took a Bridgeport homicide suspect into custody in Florida Thursday.

Jahmari "Wack" Cooper, 18, was arrested in Riviera Beach as he exited a vehicle, according to the Marshals Service.

He is a suspect in the shooting death of Jeri Kollack on Oct. 11, 2017. He is charged with felony murder, murder and first-degree robbery.

Marahals were asked to help locate Cooper in November. Information was developed that he he had fled to the West Palm Beach area. A handgun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were found along with a New Jersey license for his alias "Mark White," according to the Marshals service.

“We are very pleased to have Mr. Cooper in custody. He was an extremely violent individual and now he is off the streets do in part to the public’s assistance.” said Brian Taylor, U.S. Marshal for the District of Connecticut.
