"This arrest was the result of a combined effort between the Bridgeport Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Fairfield County States Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office," Gilleran said in a statement. "Tireless hours of work went into this case by former Bridgeport Police Detective Robert Winkler, Lieutenant John Andrews, Detective Carlos Vazquez, and Lieutenant Jason Amato. They carried on and never stopped working on the case behind the scenes. Thank you for your hard work."
