Bridgeport Man Accused Of Illegal Firearm Possession: State Police
Connecticut State Police seized multiple firearms during a recent search of the suspect's home.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 38-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on a warrant by Connecticut State Police, after authorities found several illegal firearms during a search of his home.
On Thursday morning, members of the State Urban Violence and Cooperative Crime Control Task Force, Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and the Bridgeport Violent Crimes Task Force searched the Perth Street home of Louis A. Feliciano. Detectives had developed "information indicating that [Feliciano] was illegally in possession of multiple firearms," according to state police.
Feliciano was ineligible to possess firearms in the state of Connecticut, and during the search, authorities found and seized:

- 2 handguns
- 1 assault rifle
- 5 extended rifle magazines
- 2 extended pistol magazines
- Ammunition
- 2 sets of body armor
Based on the results of the search, Feliciano was taken into custody, transported to Troop G in Bridgeport, was processed and charged with the following:
- Criminal possession of a firearm (3 counts)
- Illegal possession of a large capacity magazine (5 counts)
- Illegal possession of an assault weapon
- Criminal possession of body armor
Bond and court information were not immediately available.
