Bridgeport Man Accused of Raping Teen Girl Whose Lost Dog He Returned: Report
The incident allegedly occurred on Pearl Harbor Street in Bridgeport in July. The suspect was arrested on a warrant this week.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A teenage girl from Bridgeport who lost her dog last summer was allegedly raped by the 30-year-old man who returned it, reports the Connecticut Post.
Police arrested Robert Rivera on a warrant this week in connection with the alleged July incident. He was charged with:
- Sexual assault, first degree
- Unlawful restraint, first degree
According to police, Rivera lives near the victim on Pearl Harbor Street. After returning the dog, he allegedly forced his way into the 18-year-old girl's home and sexually assaulted her.

He denied the attack, police said, but DNA evidence taken from him and the alleged victim was a match, writes WTNH-TV.
Rivera was released after posting a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
