Bridgeport Man Arrested After Fleeing To Canada
A Bridgeport man who crossed the border to Canada will be charged in a recent homicide.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police captured a man who crossed the border to Canada who is expected to be charged in a Bridgeport murder, The Connecticut Post reported. Corey Ramos, 30, was arrested following an illegal crossing of the border in Vermont.
Ramos is the primary suspect in the death of Jennifer Brelsford, 40, according to The Post. He was arrested on a felony warrant charging him with two counts of violating a protective order.
Brelsford was found dead Sunday night at her home on Goddard Avenue. Police said she had obvious signs of trauma to her body.
