Bridgeport Man Arrested on Home Invasion, Weapons Charges: Report

The incident occurred Tuesday night just after 5 p.m. on Hancock Avenue.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 29-year-old Bridgeport man allegedly barged his way into a Hancock Avenue home, struggled with one of the occupants and then fired several gunshots at the door after he was kicked out, according to police.

Arrested was Rohan Brown, of Beechwood Avenue, reports the Connecticut Post. He was charged with:

  • Home invasion
  • Attempted first-degree assault
  • Unlawful discharge of a weapon
  • Criminal use of a firearm
  • Criminal possession of a firearm
  • Risk of injury to a minor
  • Reckless endangerment

Brown was held in lieu of a $200,000 bond. When he is scheduled to appear in court was not immediately known.
