Bridgeport Man Charged In Connection To Bar Robbery: Stratford PD

A suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday morning in connection to the armed robbery of a Stratford bar in which the bartender was shot.

STRATFORD, CT — A suspect was arrested Tuesday morning in connection to the recent armed robbery of BAR in Stratford in which a bartender was shot. Eric Chambers, 33, of Bridgeport, was apprehended by members of the Fugitive Task Force as the result of a warrant issued for his arrest, according to Sgt. Jamie Rivera.

Rivera said the arrest stems from his involvement in the robbery that took place at BAR, 2399 Main Street in Stratford, on Nov. 14.

The investigation and warrant were completed on Nov. 21, according to Rivera.

Chambers was charged with first-degree robbery. He is being held on a $250,000 bond and is due in court on Dec. 6.
