Bridgeport Man Charged With Murder

The murder is believed to be a case of mistaken identity, according to police.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police charged a city man with murder after a man was shot to death at a motel last February.

Alfanso Anderson was shot to death at the Sunny Side Inn, according to the Connecticut Post. Police believe he was mistaken for another man who owed a debt to a prostitute.

Glenn Pettway, 25, was charged with felony murder, murder and other crimes. He is on probation for a 2014 robbery conviction.
