Bridgeport Man Charged In Sex Trafficking Investigation: Police

A 45-year-old man was arrested on Aug. 28, according to the Stamford Police Department.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 45-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested recently in connection with a sex trafficking investigation in Stamford, according to police.

Sean Lewis was arrested without incident on Aug. 28 after authorities executed a search warrant at his home, police said Thursday. Lewis was subsequently charged with trafficking of persons, second-degree unlawful restraint, first and second-degree promoting prostitution, second and third-degree assault and illegal use of a payment card.

The Stamford Police Department's Special Investigations Unit had been looking into a suspected sex trafficking operation at a Stamford hotel, police said. Following a "thorough investigation," detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Lewis and a search warrant for his home.
