Bridgeport Man Charged With Whipping Child With TV Cord
He is still in custody on a high bond.

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The father of a 9-year-old boy who came to school with more welts on his back than police said they could count was arrested Wednesday on charges related to child abuse, the Connecticut Post reported.
Police said Errol Johnson, 31, would tie his son’s hands, put a shirt over the boy’s face and beat him repeatedly with a cord from a television, the Post reported.
Johnson was arrested at the P.T. Barnum Apartments by members of the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.
