Bridgeport Man ID'd as Victim in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

BRIDGEPORT, CT - Darryl M. Norris, of New Era Court in Bridgeport, was killed early Sunday when he reportedly crashed his motorcycle on Newfield Avenue near Beardsley Street, according to police.

Norris, 28, was not wearing a helmet at the time and suffered massive head trauma in the 5:44 a.m. crash, reports the Connecticut Post.

Police said he appeared to lose control of his 2000 Honda CBR900RR and struck a sidewalk and fence.

The crash remains under investigation.
