Bridgeport Man Sentenced In Heroin Trafficking Case
A city man was one of eight charged in a heroin distribution case.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A city man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison and four years of supervised release for trafficking heroin, according to a statement from prosecutors. Harry Blake, aka "Harry-O" and "O," 37, was found guilty in a jury trial last October of one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin.
According to the statement, authorities began an investigation in 2015 into several heroin distributors operating out of Bridgeport. The investigation, which included court-authorized wiretaps, controlled purchases of heroin and physical surveillance, revealed that Kareem Roseboro, aka “Swiss,” was supplying heroin to other distributors, including Blake.
Roseboro, Blake and others used the Stylz Barbershop, located on State Street, as a hub for their narcotics distribution activity, according to the statement.

Investigators then made multiple controlled purchases of heroin, and on one occasion, crack cocaine, from Blake.
During the course of the investigation, investigators seized multiple “bricks” of heroin, items used in the processing and packaging of heroin, and five firearms. A brick of heroin contains 100 individual dose bags.

Blake, Roseboro and five other Bridgeport residents were charged in an eight-count indictment and arrested in June 2016. An eighth defendant was added in a superseding indictment.
Blake’s criminal history dates to 1999 and includes state convictions for firearm, drug, assault, threatening and larceny offenses, according to the statement.
Roseboro pleaded guilty to related offenses and awaits sentencing.
