Bridgeport Man Sentenced For Sexual Assault, Prosecutors Say

A man found guilty in November of sexual assault charges will serve prison time, according to prosecutors.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man has been sentenced for a sexual assault committed in Milford in 2019, according to a statement from Margaret E. Kelley, Ansonia/Milford Judicial District State’s Attorney.

Tyrone Craddock, 50, of Bridgeport, was sentenced to 20 years in prison suspended after 14 years. He will also serve 15 years of probation.

He was found guilty in November of first-degree sexual assault.

Prosecutors said evidence showed that Craddock, who had previously provided rides to the 16-year-old victim and her friends through a ridesharing app, sexually assaulted the teen at Walnut Beach in Milford on May 24, 2019.
